Summary

Follow-up email is an essential element in the process of building relationships with customers. During conversations, you get to know each other and reveal your true intentions, so don’t give up if there’s no reaction. Use the follow-up email templates, and stick to a few rules:

  • Always send an email with fresh copy. Don’t use content you’ve already included in a previous message.

  • Give your customer some time to think and respond. A one or two day break between emails isn’t enough, and you’ll just look like a desperate salesperson looking for opportunities.
